Vortex Technology has over 20 Years of Development and Experience with Dry Air Concentration Technology. Initially in the early days focus was on Placer material only. The placer material could be easily screened and run over the early generation  conceptual models of the technology (DAC). However large volumes of dust production was the result from these early models. Heavy amounts of dust was not acceptable for even remote locations. Vortex has spent the last few decades innovating the concept of Dry Air Concentration. As a result of this R&D, it is now possibly to concentrate Gold and other valuable minerals on a dry basis.

DAC recovery From Hard Rock Material
With the Current DAC Technology it is now possible to Concentrate and Recover Gold from Hard Rock Sources.
The ore can be Crushed to the liberation point of the Target Mineral, subjected to DAC and recovered with less energy, no water and no chemicals. DAC with the ability to run very high volume(s) provides an alternative to heap leaching and froth flotation. In some cases DAC can be used a a primary Concentration method at or near the mine, this enables less hauling of ore to a secondary concentration process (such as froth flotation of sulfide ores).
