Bernoulli's Principle Simplified: The ball, representing a mineral particle is subjected to lift (blower) and is kept elevated not by the air pushing it up. But by the formation of a Vorticle flow caused by air particles moving around the ball. If the air was simply pushing on the ball, then when the blower is placed at a 45 degree angle, then the ball should drop as gravity would take over. The vortex formation causes the ball(mineral particle) to be somewhat sucked up similar to objects in a tornado,
